Delta Shores Community is a grassroots 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization formed by residents and businesses passionate about creating a connected and engaged neighborhood. We encompass the growing Delta Shores area, aiming to build bridges between neighbors, local businesses, and community leaders.

We started because we wanted to ensure our new community has access to important resources and a direct line to those who represent us. Recognizing that the current HOA structure serves a different primary function, we stepped up to create a space dedicated to broader community building and advocacy, intentionally including the businesses that serve our area.

Our focus is twofold: fostering strong community bonds and ensuring our collective voice is heard. We believe that a connected community is a strong community, which is why we've enjoyed bringing neighbors together through events like block parties, with more social gatherings, meetings, and service projects planned for the future.

Simultaneously, we are actively working to engage with local leadership to advocate for the needs and desires of Delta Shores residents. We've already successfully hosted Mayor Kevin McCarty, Assemblymember Stephanie Nguyen, City Council Member Mai Vang (District 8), Police Chief Kathy Lester, and Fire Department representatives, facilitating important dialogue. As our neighborhood grows, with city parks and a school planned, we aim to be a positive influence in shaping these developments.
